About Me

Lee is the owner of Lee Kendall Goalkeeping and runs the Lee Kendall Goalkeeping training sessions. A goalkeeping specialist Lee is a UEFA Pro Licence, UEFA Goalkeeping A Licence, FA Advanced Youth Award and UEFA/FAW coach educator.

Lee is currently Head of Goalkeeping at Newport County AFC of EFL League Two. Formerly of Sheffield United, Cardiff City, Bristol City, Fleetwood Town, Wales U15-U21 and England Women’s National Team. In his time with the England National Team, he has Won Bronze at the 2015 Women’s World Cup and a semi-final finish at Euro 2017.

Lee is also a coach educator for the Football Association of Wales (FAW), where he teaches on the UEFA Goalkeeping A Licence and the UEFA A Licence. 

As a Goalkeeper Lee had a professional career with Crystal Palace, Cardiff City, Shrewsbury Town, and Barry Town. Lee also represented and captained Wales National Youth Teams at U15, U17, U19 and capped on a number of occasions at U21 level.

With over 250 appearances Lee also represented Neath, Rhyl, Haverfordwest County, Port Talbot & Prestatyn. Lee has played the highest level of European Football making appearances in the Champions League (Rhyl v Partizan Belgrade), Europa Cup (Barry Town v Boavista, Haverfordwest County v Hafnarfjarðar, Port Talbot v TPS Turku) and Intertoto Cup (Rhyl v Bohemians).

On top of the coaching qualifications, Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Coaching and a Master’s in Elite Performance Coaching.
